The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio is partnering with StoryCorps to capture women’s unique stories about gender and wealth. This project is an opportunity to both support the Women’s Fund’s research effort and share a meaningful conversation with someone in your life.

This project is an opportunity to both support the Women’s Fund’s research effort and share a meaningful conversation with someone in your life.

StoryCorps has helped over 700,000 people share their stories, and all stories are collected in theU.S. Library of Congress. The Women’s Fund wants to hear your insight into what it would take for all Central Ohio women to thrive.

Choose someone you care about—a loved one, a friend, a mentor, a neighbor—whose experiences or wisdom you want to document and celebrate. The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio has a series of prompts to start the conversation:

  • What does wealth mean to you?
  • What barriers have you encountered in financial security?
  • Who or what could have made your journey easier?
  • What is the best advice someone has given you?
  • What do you wish more people in your community knew about your experiences?

When you’ve finished recording, please make sure you mark your conversation PUBLIC so that the Women’s Fund can use it to inform research and advocacy. Thank you!
