Human Services Chamber
A forum for collaboration, mutual support, and collective voice for human service non-profits. We help you identify opportunities, build relationships, and engage in policy advocacy for the community.
What do we do?
We organize collective advocacy, network development, and shared efficiencies for human services nonprofits operating in Cuyahoga County.
Supporting the safety and prosperity of communities
The work of the Cuyahoga Human Services Chamber is driven by the ideas and creativity of over 70 nonprofit members who, for decades, have been using these skills and talents to address unmet needs and build stronger communities. Nonprofits in our region not only provide direct services that support the safety and prosperity of our community, we account for 12 percent of the workforce in Cuyahoga County. Serving as a unified voice for our sector, we aim to offer resources to create efficiencies for our members and a platform for collective action.
Collective Advocacy
Effective and sustainable advocacy comes from working together. Members will gain access to regular reports and communications documenting legislative, budgetary and regulatory issues impacting the sector, as well as analysis.
Network development
One key element to building the Chamber is network development. Training opportunities, conversations with policymakers, and other events address both professional development and build a strong nonprofit community.
Shared services
Shared services offer efficient and collaborative ways to reduce costs. Data sharing, business intelligence, cost reduction, and other administrative services are among the ways we will create efficiencies for member organizations.
Membership benefits
We are creating a trusted, member-driven space where nonprofit leaders can convene, learn, and collaborate to strengthen individual organizations and address sector-wide challenges.
