Tara Britton serves as the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy and Lynde Fellow at The Center for Community Solutions. She guides the Columbus and Cleveland-based policy team members in research, analysis, and advocacy across Community Solutions' priority areas. This includes advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels and across the legislative and executive branches of government. She has primarily worked in the non-profit space, advancing from policy assistant to the Director of Policy at Community Solutions and began her career as an assistant at a Columbus-based lobbying firm. She leads the organization's work on the state biennial budget process, engaging across health and human service programs, and has expertise in programs aimed at reducing poverty and on the topic of maternal health. Britton received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University. Tara serves on the boards of Health Impact Ohio and Advocates for Ohio's Future.
