Patti Carlyle has joined The Center for Community Solutions as the director of Communications and Digital Strategy. Before joining Community Solutions, she spent over a decade in communications leadership roles at Cleveland area non-profits, public entities and technology firms.
Her most recent initiatives addressing racism and bias include the 2020 Citizens Advisory Committee on Policing Policies which made recommendations for departmental reforms, and the Fair Housing Board, both in University Heights. Patti supports community access to public institutions as a board trustee for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library, and through generative journalism projects with a focus on equity, culture and fair funding in public education.

Her prior advocacy work includes FutureHeights, an inner-ring community development corporation (CDC) focused on development and community engagement, and Greater Cleveland Congregations designing listening campaigns as an education liaison. Patti graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English.
