On October 9, we were honored to award the 2020 Community Solutions Award for Public Service in Honor of John Begala to Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) and Kimberly Hall, the Director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
This award honors those who have shown a great commitment to public service, especially as it relates to improving health and human services in Ohio. This year Community Solutions has decided to honor these two inspirational women for their extraordinary commitment to ensure Ohioans have access to food and nutrition services via the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. We are particularly grateful for their efforts to create the Pandemic-EBT program which provided critical assistance to hundreds of thousands of Ohio school-aged children.
