The Center for Community Solutions, in partnership with Advocates for Ohio’s Future, hosted a webinar on Friday, April 1 where advocates from the Ohio Association of Foodbanks, the Greater Cleveland Foodbank, the Children’s Hunger Alliance and The Center for Community Solutions discussed what COVID-19 means for food access. To support the federal recommendations in the webinar, please consider contacting your members of Congress to ask for their support of a 15% increase in SNAP benefits and an extension of the Pandemic EBT program. Ohio's own Representative Marcia Fudge has been a national leader on these issues and recently spearheaded a letter from 130+ members of Congress calling for anti-hunger provisions to be prioritized in the next coronavirus relief package.
