The Center for Community Solutions, in partnership with Advocates for Ohio's Future, hosted a webinar where advocates talked about the census in the time of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States at almost the same time that the U.S. Census Bureau was beginning some of its most essential field operations. The 2020 Census has far-reaching implications for state and local funding streams, congressional representation, redistricting and research. This webinar will provide updates on Census timelines and operations; give you a look at how the state is doing in its census response rates; share what some local organizers are doing to ensure that everyone is counted; and provide ways that you and your organization can get involved in census outreach work.
